Jasper Fulton, Kingstree - Funeral services for Jasper Phillip “Phil” Fulton, conducted by the Rev. Terry Law, were held Sunday, July 27, 2014, at Siloam Missionary Baptist Church of Kingstree. Burial, directed by Henryhand Funeral Home, followed at St. John AME Church Cemetery of Kingstree. Mr. Fulton died Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at MUSC of Charleston. He was born August 23, 1960, in Kingstree, the son of the late Mary Ann Smith Fulton and Jasper Fulton. He was a graduate of Kingstree Senior High School of Kingstree. He attended Road Master Truck Driving School in Florida. He also had his own contracting business in Florida named Father and Sons. He was a mechanic for Williamsburg Transit for years. He was also a Commercial Driver for Justice Family Farms for four years. Two siblings, David Fulton and Sandra Cain (Willie), preceded him in death.
Survivors are: his fiancé, Sheila Goolsby of the home; six children: Jemel P. Fulton, Joelease S. Brooks and Jasmine Fulton, all of the home; Jasper Fulton (Raven), Thaddius Cooper (LaToya) and Jaleeza Cooper, all of Charlotte, North Carolina; six brothers, Lucious Fulton, Todd Fulton (Quintina), Preston Fulton (Georgette), Israel Cole, Terry Robinson, and Leroy Robinson; four sisters, Shirretta Bennett (James), Carletta Shaw, Nashanda Porter (Ben), and Cynthia Fulton; two godchildren, Capria Fulton and Brennehia Fulton; and three grandchildren.
