As Kingstree resident Olivia Reynolds nears the end of her year-long practical nursing course of study at Williamsburg Technical College, the reasons she entered the program are clearer than ever.

“I am so glad that a program like this is here…number one in the state and 19th nationally,” says Reynolds about the nursing program. “The teachers want you to learn, pass, and succeed.”

Reynolds could be speaking for the whole practical nursing class when she says WTC has opened up possibilities for her to get an education leading to a successful career. The program – like all programs at WTC – has instructors who are willing to go the extra mile to help a student succeed and classes that are tough enough to prepare a student for the real world of work

Like so many other students at WTC, Reynolds credits the campus size and helpfulness of faculty and staff as main reasons WTC is the place to be. She believes the college has provided her with the tools to succeed in a career and to continue to a higher level of study if she so desires.

The next Pre-Admission Exam (PAX) test will be given at the college on Tuesday, August 5, to complete entrance for the 2014-15 class. For information on entering the WTC practical nursing program, call (843) 355-4130.
