Dener Frazier, Salters - Funeral services for Dener McCray “Geech” and “Old Man” Frazier, conducted by Pastor John Wilson, were held Thursday, July 17, 2014, at Clauddie Memorial Chapel Henryhand Funeral Home of Kingstree. Burial, directed by Henryhand Funeral Home, followed at St. Mary AME Church Cemetery of Salters.

Mr. Frazier died Wednesday, July 9, 2014. He was born September 23, 1950, in Williamsburg County, the son of the late Cicero and Margaret Frazier of Blakely. He was educated in the public schools of Williamsburg County. Shortly after high school, he moved to St. Petersburg, Florida, where he mastered roofing and stuccowork. He moved back to South Carolina in 1999. He worked at Crown Laundromat in Kingstree for over 15 years. Survivors are: one son, Dener Frazier, Jr.; one daughter, Connie Frazier; four sisters, Jessie Mae Gamble of Salters; and Helen Frazier, Peggy Hugee, and Pearl Frazier, all of New York; and four grandchildren.
