COCKY THE GAMECOCK to attend Vital Aging Dinner and Silent Auction

COCKY THE GAMECOCK “Teddy” is pictured with his Gamecock beach bag and Gamecock quilt in preparation for the Vital Aging Dinner and Silent Auction featuring 1980 Heisman Trophy Winner and Super Bowl Champion George Rogers. The event will be held on Thursday, July 24, at Santee Electric Cooperative at 6 p.m. The items, along with a Charleston Harbor dinner cruise for two and many other great things will be available for bid. The Gamecock quilt was created by the quilting ladies of the Vital Aging Kingstree Wellness Center under the direction of Mrs. Vivian Catoe and the Gamecock Teddy bear and beach bag were made by by Mrs. Genevieve Richburg of the Greeleyville Wellness Center.
