Funeral services for Cleveland Miller, conducted by the Rev. Terry Law, were held Saturday, June 28, 2014, at Siloam Missionary Baptist Church of Kingstree, directed by Henryhand Funeral Home.Mr. Miller died Sunday, June 22, 2014, at Hospice of Wake County in Raleigh, North Carolina. He was born March 29, 1952, in Kingstree, the son of the late Martin Miller and Edna Mae Pringle-Miller. He was a member of Siloam Missionary Baptist Church. He attended Tomlinson High School, where he graduated May 1, 1970. He was employed by the State Capitol in Washington, DC. He attended Williamsburg Technical College in Kingstree, where he studied furniture making. He was married to the late Diane Burrows-Miller. His first born, Baby Miller, preceded him in death. Three brothers, James Miller, Sr., two infant brothers and one sister, Shirley Mae Miller, preceded him in death. Survivors are: one son, Lamont Miller (Lamonica); one daughter, Chandra Miller; one stepdaughter, Tracey Butler; one stepson, Robbie Butler; three brothers, Willie Thomas Miller (Annie) of Ft. Washington, Maryland; Roger Miller (Darlene) of Durham, North Carolina; and Terrance Miller (Paris) of Kingstree; one sister, Annie Mar Miller-Giles (Jack) of Bronx, New York; and five grandchildren.
