Seniors Patrol - The Kingstree Police Department is offering a seniors patrol wellness check. Any elderly, ill or bedridden residents of the Town of Kingstree who would like for the police department to contact them on a regular basis should call Chief Eric Williams or Police Chaplain the Rev. Harold Jackson.

Senior Bingo -The senior citizens of Lane invite any senior citizen to join them every first and third Tuesday at Lane Recreation Center on Broomstraw Rd. for “Senior Bingo.”

Housing Authority - The Housing Authority of Kingstree will meet every third Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. at 1022 Lexington Ave., Kingstree.
Health Screening - The Nursing Department of Francis Marion University has been approved to provide free health screenings every Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Felician Center located at 1000 Thorne Avenue, Kingstree. Sugar testing, vision testing etc. will be provided free of charge. In addition, a licensed nurse will be available to assist individuals with some health planning on a regular basis.
Child Screenings - Williamsburg County School District Office of Special Services, located at 500 North Academy Street, Kingstree, (843) 355-5533, will hold child find screenings each month.
Program -Through The Storm Outreach, Inc., a Maternity Group Home located in Kingstree, has beds available for youth ages 16 to 22. They will come pick the youth up from your facility and intake them into their program for up to 540 days.

Yoga Classes - Regular yoga classes for beginners and Chair yoga classes are offered at the St. Alban’s Episcopal Church Parrish Hall at 305 Hampton Ave., Kingstree. Please use the door at the hall that does not face Hampton Ave. on the left side. The classes are open to a diverse population and require no experience with yoga. 4-H Camp -July 7, July 9, and July 11, Battery Park 4-H Day Camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.; Battery Park School; registration required by Tuesday, July 1.
(Battery Park 4-H will have a summer program that runs from June 16 to August 15, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday- Friday; must be a 4-H member to participate)
July 28 to July 30, 4-H Club Day Camp 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Clemson Extension office in Kingstree; registration required by Monday, July 21.
July 31, 4-H Summer Festival 5 to 7 p.m. at the Clemson Extension office in Kingstree; (4-H members and volunteers get in free!).
Kids will enjoy crafts and a small petting zoo. There will also be educational activities involving livestock and forestry. A fundraiser will be available.
All proceeds will go towards Williamsburg County 4-H clubs for the 2014-2015 club year

Workshop - Clemson University Cooperative Extension Service Livestock and Forages Team will conduct a one day Backyard Poultry/Chicken Workshop.
This program will be held on Friday, June 27, at the Pee Dee Research and Education Center in Florence. The program will begin at 10 a.m. and conclude at 4 p.m.
