Bob Spearman

Bob Spearman, a former native of Williamsburg County, has published his first book, “Turf and Surf” and will be signing copies during a June 26, book signing at the Williamsburg County Library.  Spearman is the son of John and Dolores Spearman.  He attended Williamsburg County Schools through junior high.  He graduated from Summerville High School and from The Citadel.

Spearman began to write fiction as a hobby in 2003.  He has written several short stories and two novels. “Turf and Surf” is the first to be published. A second novel, “Hard Road,” is in work with a goal for publication later this year.

Spearman currently works and lives in Mount Pleasant with his wife, Barbara.   Books will be available for purchase and signing by the author. The public is invited. Light refreshments will be served after the presentation.
