Iva Lockliear , Andrews - Iva Long Lockliear, 82, widow of Cecil Rufus Lockliear, died Thursday, May 29, 2014, at her residence. Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. Paul Sapp and the Rev. Gary Adams, were held Sunday, June 1, 2014, at First Baptist Church of Andrews. Burial, directed by Mayer Funeral Home, followed at Andrews Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Lockliear was born August 9, 1931, in Williamsburg County, the daughter of the late Kizzie Bell Long. She grew up in the Andrews area and attended Andrews High School. She was a member of Trio United Methodist Church and attended First Baptist Church of Andrews for over 20 years. Survivors are: six sons, Mark Lockliear (Jackie), Keith Lockliear (Patsy), Lynn Lockliear (Nancy), John Woody Lockliear (Donna), and Rufus Lockliear (Carolyn), all of Trio, and Thomas Lockliear (Althea) of Vox; three daughters, Melonie Richardson (Michael) of Andrews, Montie Lambert (Charlie) of Trio, and Cecilia Brown (Jeff) of Boone, North Carolina; one sister, Iris Matthews of Georgetown; 21 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
