W.M. Anderson Primary School announces winners for king and queen of May Day

On May 2, W.M. Anderson Primary School announced the overall winners for king and queen of May Day 2014-2015 respectively, Braylon McFadden and Kennedy Mack.The first runner-up for king was Mark Pickard and for queen was Kahlia Oliver.

The child development class king and queen were as follows:

from Charlene McKenzie’s class, Tamarjay Peterson, queen; from Mrs. Dana Streett’s class, Kelis Pressley, queen and Mark Pickard, king; from Mrs. Lucy Smith’s class, Velencia Staggers, queen and Kelvin Brown, Jr., king.

The kindergarten class king and queen were as follows: from Miss Royster’s class, Kendall Fulton, queen and Benjamin Washington, king; from Mrs. Burroughs’ class, Kahlia Oliver, queen and Deonce Davis, king; from Mrs. Latetia Staggers’ class, Kennedy Mack, queen and Akyri Franklin, king; from Miss China’s class, Kortney Nesmith, queen; from Mrs. Grubb’s class, Coryn Speights, queen; and from Mrs. Cynthia McKenzie’s class, Jena Montgomery, queen and Triston White, king.Some second grade students wrapped the May Pole and Artists in Motion performed a dance from Beat It by Michael Jackson.
