Norman Gause, Kingstree

Norman Gause, Kingstree - Norman Melton Gause, 72, husband of Karen Coleman Gause, died Friday, May 9, 2014, at his residence. Funeral services were held Monday, May 12, 2014, at Williamsburg Funeral Home Chapel. Burial, directed by Williamsburg Funeral Home, followed at Kingstree Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.

Mr. Gause was born June 19, 1941, in Kingstree, the son of the late Hobson R. and Leola McKenzie Gause. He was a graduate of Kingstree High School and was the owner of Pee Dee Pool and Spa in Florence.

He attended Peace Free Will Baptist Church. Three brothers, Clarence Gause, Marion Gause and Douglas Gause, preceded him in death. Survivors, in addition to his wife, are: three children, Cynthia M. Gause, Norman M. Gause, Jr. and Gary C. Gause, all of Florence; three sisters, Roberta G. Gannon (Rocky) of Darlington; Myrtle G. Powell Smith (Bobby) of Kingstree; and Vivian G. Cooper of Lugoff; two brothers, Raleigh Gause (Mattie) and Beaufort Gause (Nancy) of Kingstree; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
