Hemingway Elementary School is celebrating National Teacher Appreciation Week by honoring staff for the outstanding commitment that they have to students of HES. Throughout this week, educators at HES will be receiving reminders of the valuable role that they play in the lives of students.

Principal Cynthia Brown said, “National Teacher Appreciation Week is very important to us at Hemingway Elementary School because it gives us another reason to say to our staff that they are doing an awesome job, and we appreciation each of them.”

All staff members at Hemingway Elementary School were given a PASS Survival Kit with healthy stacks on the first day of testing. Staff members are also receiving small tokens of appreciation each day. Students are writing stories about their favorite educator and how that person has made a difference in their educational success.

National Teacher Appreciation Week was held May 5 through May 10. During this week, the school celebrated and honored dedicated teachers, who believe in our youth and are committed to providing quality education to all students.
