Laverne McCutcheon, Cades - Laverne L. "Frog" McCutcheon, 67, husband of Peggy Disher McCutcheon, died Sunday, April 6, 2014, at his residence.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at Sandy Bay Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial, directed by Williamsburg Funeral Home, followed at Sandy Bay Cemetery. Mr. McCutcheon was born November 10, 1946, in Clarendon County, the son of the late Jack H. and Alberta Springs McCutcheon. He attended Williamsburg County schools and was owner of McCutcheon's Grass Mowing. He attended Sandy Bay Pentecostal Holiness Church. A son, Daniel McCutcheon, and a brother, Son McCutcheon, preceded him in death. Survivors are: his wife, Peggy D. McCutcheon of Cades; two daughters, Missy McCutcheon (Tony Welch) and Lori Ann McCutcheon, both of Cades; two sisters, Joann Coker of Cades; and Jackie Price of Kingstree; two brothers, Paul McCutcheon of Kingstree; and Rudolph McCutcheon of Cades; and two grandchildren.Memorials may be made to Sandy Bay Pentecostal Holiness Church, 188 Delos Road, Kingstree, SC  29556.
