Former Kingstree resident promoted to general manager of Houston based Pexco, LLC

Marsha Jordan, formerly of Kingstree, has been promoted to the position of general manager of Pexco, LLC. She reports directly to the chief executive officer and formally took her new post on August 26, 2013. Jordan holds both a Bachelor and a Master degree of Science in Management from the University of Maryland University College, plus a Master degree in Business Administration. She joined Pexco in 2000 as Columbia's purchasing & traffic manager and later moved into the role of director of materials. From 2003 to 2012 she was Columbia's customer service & logistics manager and in early 2012, she moved into the role of corporate customer service manager.
As general manager, she exercises discretion over the day-to-day activities of the Houston facility. She oversees, provides direct leadership and continual evaluation for the site's operating departments. Ken Des Camp, plant manager; Kasey Gomez, controller; Ellen Miles, HR; and Israel Fernandez, customer service, will report directly to Jordan. Each continues to have dotted line responsibilities to their previous managers.
