Noonday Prayer - St. Paul United Methodist Church, 3733 Thurgood Marshall Hwy., Kingstree, will be open for noonday prayer on Wednesdays. We invite anyone who wants to come in and spend time with God to stop by and pray as long as they would like.  The church will open at 12 p.m. and remain open until after Bible Study at 6 p.m.  All are welcome to share in our Bible Study as well.  

Program - Lady Christ-N-Ty Youth Ministry sponsors youth programs every second Sunday of the month. If you are looking for youth to come to your church to perform praise dancing and singing, lifting the name of Jesus. For more information contact TeaTon at ladychrist_n_ty@yahoo.com.  

Services - The Church of God and True Holiness, 1185 Thorne Avenue, Kingstree, invites everyone to join us in our weekly services. Services are 1st and 3rd Sundays at 9 a.m. with Sunday School and Praise service at 10 a.m. Praise/Worship on 1st and 3rd Tuesdays and Bible study every 2nd and 4th Sundays and Thursday nights at True Holiness Church of Deliverance II, 229 N. McQueen St., Florence. Apostle James A. Pratt, Jr. is the pastor.  

Activities - Christ "N" Me Youth Outfield Ministry activities will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Throw and catch, puzzles, games, singing, and dancing and so much more. Refreshments will be served. Pick-up and drop-off are available.

Yard Sale - Corrie House Garments of Grace Ministries of Sandy Bay Pentecostal Holiness Church, located at the end of Sandy Bay Rd., will have an indoor yard sale every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Youth Ministry - Lady Christ-Is-Ty Youth Ministry will be ministering at Interfaith Project Park in Kingstree every Saturday from 4 p.m. until. There will be singing and praise dancing. Youth Program - Christ “N” Me sponsors youth programs every second Sunday of the month. Program - Through The Storm Outreach, Inc., a Maternity Group Home located in Kingstree, has beds available for youth ages 16 to 22. They will come pick the youth up from your facility and intake them into their program for up to 540 days. There are five beds available for pregnant and parenting girls. Services - Free income tax filing services and FAFSA applications will be provided in two locations. Lee County Adult Education, 123 E. Assistance - Through The Storm Outreach Ministries, Inc. helps homeless and runaway teenage girls, who are homeless between the ages 14 to 22. The organization is located behind the Kingstree Church of Christ, 1286 Sumter Hwy., Kingstree. Conference - Please join us, Word of God Ministry, for our 2014 Women Empowerment Conference From Damage to Destiny, "Not Easily Broken!" Saturday, March 15, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Word of God Ministry, 133 Old Forreston Rd., Greeleyville. Speakers, psalmist(s), and praise dancers will be featured. Prophetess Tonya Fulton, New Bethlehem Holiness Church of Andrews Elect Lady Ponzella McClary, Word of God Ministry of Greeleyville Psalmist Jennifer Mack, The Father's House of Florence, S.C. Holiness Praise Dance Ministry, Bethel AME Church of Salters  

Health Screening - The Nursing Department of Francis Marion University has been approved to provide free health screenings every Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Felician Center located at 1000 Thorne Avenue, Kingstree.  

Concert - Steve Hess and Southern Salvation will be in concert at Kingstree First Assembly of God on Saturday, March 8, at 6:30 p.m. Admission to the concert is free. This group is one of the finest Southern gospel artists around. You will not be disappointed. The concert is open to the public. Kingstree First Assembly is located at 872 Sumter Hwy. in Kingstree. Teachings From The Ark - Teachings From The Ark announces the following events during the month of March. March 8 and March 22 teachings March 15 family movie at 11:30 a.m. Food pantry open to the public from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at 101 E. Main Street, Kingstree. All recipients are required to show a current valid photo I.D. in order to receive commodities. No exceptions. March 29 Friends and Family Prayer Day at 12 pm. All events are at 105 E. Pancake Supper - Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper will be held Tuesday, March 4, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at St. Alban's Episcopal Church, 305 Hampton Ave., Kingstree. For more information please call 355-7575.  

Men's Day - Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church will be hosting its Men's Day Program, 100 MIA (Men in Action), on Sunday, March 9, at 4 p.m. The featured speaker for this event is the Rev. Jacques C. Wright, Young Adult Pastor at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church of North Charleston. All are welcome and we specifically ask that you bring your male youth. Luncheon - Vernon Tanner of Hemingway a/k/a Mingo Vernon Tanner will be guest speaker at the First Baptist Church of Manning Senior Luncheon at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18. The public is invited to hear Mr. Tanner at this luncheon in the fellowship hall of the church at 49 West Boyce Street, Manning. Concert - The male chorus of New Friendship Freewill Baptist Church of Kingstree invite you to their annual on the Battle-field for the Lord Concert on Saturday, March 8, at 7 p.m.

Fundraiser - The R.A.G.E. Youth Group of Sandy Bay P.H. Church will sponsor a BBQ Brown Bag Lunch Fundraiser on Friday, March 7, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Price includes a BBQ pork sandwich, bag of chips, cole slaw and cookies. A pick-up location in Kingstree will be Ina Miles Store (by Bank of Greeleyville) with delivery available for orders of five or more bags. All proceeds go towards the Youth Belize Mission trip, scheduled in July. Tickets not needed, but please call by Thursday, March 6, to pre-order.
