Seniors Patrol - The Kingstree Police Department is offering a seniors patrol wellness check. Any elderly, ill or bedridden residents of the Town of Kingstree who would like for the police department to contact them on a regular basis should call Chief Eric Williams or Police Chaplain the Rev. Program - Through The Storm Outreach, Inc., a Maternity Group Home located in Kingstree, has beds available for youth ages 16 to 22. They will come pick the youth up from your facility and intake them into their program for up to 540 days. There are five beds available for pregnant and parenting girls. Nominations - South Carolina African American Heritage Commission (SCAAHC) will present the Preserving Our Places In History awards on March 28, 2014, at the South Carolina Archives & History Center of Columbia. The mission of the SCAAHC is to identify and promote the preservation of historic sites, structures, buildings, and culture of the African American experience in South Carolina and to assist and enhance the efforts of the South Carolina Department of Archives & History. Eligible applicants are high school seniors who plan to continue their education at a two or four-year college on a full-time basis.
