Greeleyville Mayor German Glasscho was charged with Public Drunkenness. According to a Greeleyville Police Incident Report, on February 11, Glasscho entered the Greeleyville Town Hall Police Department and asked Chief Michael Graham to remove his girlfriend from his home. At that time, the chief noted that Glasscho was highly intoxicated and could barely stand up. After Glasscho was explained the process of eviction he walked out of the building and got into his vehicle and attempted to leave according to the report. The officer opened the door and asked Glasscho to exit the vehicle. At that time he was placed under arrest and taken to the Williamsburg County Detention Center. Glasscho has been Mayor of Greeleyville since 2002.
