Noveline Ackerman Davis Cloaninger, 93, widow of James Manning Cloaninger and Blen Joe Davis, died Thursday, January 30, 2013, at her residence. Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. Bob Huggins and the Rev. Gray Adams, were held Sunday, February 2, 2014, at Earle United Methodist Church.  Burial, directed by Andrews Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home, followed at Harmony Cemetery. Mrs. Cloaninger was born in Andrews, the daughter of the late William Hinson Ackerman and Frances Mae Cox Ackerman.  She grew up in the Earle community of Williamsburg County and graduated from Williamsburg High School.  She received her associate’s degree in cosmetology, and owned and operated her own beauty shop for over 60 years.  She was a member of Lebanon United Methodist Church of Eastover. Survivors are:  one daughter, Joan Davis McDaniel (Landrum) of Johnsonville; a nephew, who was like a son, Jay Ackerman of Columbia; and one granddaughter. Memorials may be made to Earl United Methodist Church, 1697 US Hwy. 521, Andrews, SC 29510.
