Ronnie “Peanut” Robinson, 49, died Saturday, January 11, 2014, at the Williamsburg Regional Hospital of Kingstree. Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. Colen Giles, Jr. and the Rev. Obed Conyers, were held Friday, January 17, 2014, at St. Matthew Baptist Church of Salters. Burial, directed by Redmond-Richardson Funeral Home, followed at Salters Cemetery of Salters. Mr. Robinson was born October 7, 1964, in Georgetown County, the son of Nathan and Mary Lee Mitchum Robinson. He received his formal education in the public schools of Williamsburg County and graduated from Williamsburg-Blakeley High School in 1984. He was a member Great Present AME Church of Andrews. He was employed by Southern Woods Logging as a heavy equipment operator. Survivors, in addition to his parents of Andrews, are: his wife, Rosa Mae Robinson of the home; one daughter, Kianna LeShell Robinson of the home; six siblings, Leroy Mitchum of Kingstree; Illa Mae Robertson (Cleo) of Griffin, Georgia; Inetha Frazier and Tony Robinson, both of Andrews; Ricky Robinson (Rosaland) of Lexington; and Lorine McBride (Lawrence) of Florence; and an adopted son, Devann Smallwood of St. Stephen.
