Delbert June, Salters

Funeral services for Delbert June, conducted by the Rev. Carl Shaw, were held Saturday, January 4, 2014, at D.P. Cooper Elementary School of Salters. Burial, directed by Henryhand Funeral Home, followed at Charity Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery of Suttons. Mr. June died Sunday, December 29, 2013. He was born December 2, 1975, in Georgetown, the son of Denoris June and the late Lawrence June, Sr. He attended Charity Missionary Baptist Church of Suttons. He received his early years of education in the Williamsburg County School System, where he graduated from C.E. Murray High School in 1995. He continued his education to obtain his Electrician Journeyman license. He also was fluent in American Sign Language. For many years, he worked as an electrician and was employed by many contractors throughout the Carolinas. He was also employed by ClientLogic for several years. Survivors, in addition to his mother of Salters, are: six sisters, Moletha June, Angela Culbertson (Mitchell), Donna June-Franks, and Lorraine Rodriguez (Michael), all of Columbia, SC, Valarie Reed of Charlotte, North Carolina; and Virginia June of Salters; two brothers, Lawrence June, Jr. of Charlotte, North Carolina; and Demond June (Rosland) of Columbia; and one cousin who was like a brother, Alex Parson (Gail).
