Pearl Estell Risher McCutcheon, 88, the widow of Willard Randolph McCutcheon, died Thursday, January 9, 2014, at her residence. A Home Going Celebration was held Sunday, January 12, 2014, at the Andrews First Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial, directed by the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home, followed at Earles PH Church Cemetery. Mrs. McCutcheon was born July 10, 1925, in Berkeley County, the daughter of Benjamin Franklin Risher and Pearl Estell Peagler Risher. She was a member of Andrews First Pentecostal Holiness Church and a member of the Eastern Star – Rosemary Chapter. A son, Ralph, 11 siblings, Perry, Walter, Silas, Marion, Buster, William “Pee Wee” Peagler and Rufus Risher, the Rev. Effie Causey, Rachel Mills, Mae Mitchum and Bertha Weiss, and a stepmother, Collie P. Causey, preceded her in death. Survivors are: four children, Barbara M. Camlin (Kenneth), Willard Ralph McCutcheon, Frances M. Freeman (Don), and Debbie M. Ellis (Johnny); two brothers, J.W. Peagler (Kay) and Monroe Peagler; one sister, Reather Arnold (Tally);10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
