George Frazier, Salters

Funeral services for George Frazier, conducted by the Rev. Louis Ashley and the Rev. Frances Mitchell, were held Saturday, December 21, 2013, at Jerusalem United Methodist Church of Salters. Burial, directed by Henryhand Funeral Home, followed at Jerusalem United Methodist Church Cemetery of Salters. Mr. Frazier died Monday, December 9, 2013, at Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx, New York. He was born October 5, 1932, in Salters, the son of the late Ed and Mabel Frazier. He attended school in Williamsburg County. After school, he started working with his family. He also worked for Loman Printing Company, where he was a die cutter. In August 1953, he moved to New York. He was a member of Jerusalem United Methodist Church of Salters, where he sang on the choir. Five brothers, Alexander Frazier, Warren Frazier, William Frazier, Levy Frazier and Robert Frazier, preceded him in death. Survivors are: his loving wife, Castilia Brown-Frazier of the home; two daughters, Cecilia Frazier-Oglesby and Jannette Carol Frazier, both of Bronx, New York; one son, George Frazier, Jr. of Orange County, New York; three brothers, Henry Frazier, Jessie Frazier and Clyde Frazier, all of Miami, Florida; one sister, Pearl McCullough of St. Petersburg, Florida; and four grandchildren.
