Clinton Middleton, Pineville

Funeral services for Clinton “Clint” or “Cool Clint” Middleton, conducted by the Rev. Clifford G. Brown, were held Saturday December 14, 2013, at Pilgrim Baptist Church of Pineville. Mr. Middleton died Friday, December 6, 2013. He was born June 23, 1947, in Pineville, the son of the late John And Louise Middleton. He was educated at Russellville High School of Berkeley County. At an early age, he moved to New York City. He was a crane operator for many years at Thypin Steel, until his retirement. He also fixed and painted cars. Two siblings, Joseph Middleton and Albert Middleton (Julie), preceded him in death. Survivors are: his wife, Inetha Paulin Middleton of Queens, New York; four children, Carolyn Mins of Rhode Island, New York; Clinton Middleton, Jr., of Tampa, Florida; Darlene Reese of Queens, New York; and Vickie Pressley (Stanley) of Columbia; two sisters, Elease Jenkins (Edward) of Pinetops, North Carolina; and Dinah White of Pineville; two brothers, Marcus Middleton (Ruth) of Brooklyn, New York; and St. Julian Middleton (Ellen) of Pineville; and 10 grandchildren.
