Funeral services for Charles Raymond “C Moo” McFadden, conducted by Bishop Amos Major and the Rev. Tracy McFadden, were held Monday, December 16, 2013, at House of God #1 Holiness Church of Cades. Burial, directed by Henryhand Funeral Home, followed at the Old McFadden Cemetery of Lake City. Mr. McFadden died Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at his residence. He was born September 23, 1955, in Clarendon County, the son of the late Morrell and Luizer McFadden. He received his formal education and graduated from Cades Hebron High School. After high school, he was an agriculture farmer with his father until the year of 1976. He was employed with Santee Electric Cooperate for over 28 years and retired in 2004. Two daughters, Chrystal McCollough and Shirley Murphy, and one brother, JoeNathan McFadden, preceded him in death. Survivors are: 12 siblings, Elder Morrell McFadden, Jr. (Mary), Lettie Graham (Aaron), R.L. McFadden and Karen Pratt, all of Lake City; Rickey McFadden, Denise Adams (Barry) and Johnny McFadden (Burnette of Manning), all of Kingstree; Randolph McFadden (Annette) of Columbus, Georgia; Amanda Simon of North (William of Sumter); Sheila Pratt and Vicki Pratt, both of Atlanta Georgia; and Kevin Pratt of Pamplico (Christine); and two grandchildren he reared as his own, Santorion McFarlin of Kingstree; and Kindra McFarlin of Charleston.
