Noonday Prayer - St. Paul United Methodist Church, 3733 Thurgood Marshall Hwy., Kingstree, will be open for noonday prayer on Wednesdays. We invite anyone who wants to come in and spend time with God to stop by and pray as long as they would like. The church will open at 12 p.m. and remain open until after Bible Study at 6 p.m. All are welcome to share in our Bible Study as well. Program - Lady Christ-N-Ty Youth Ministry sponsors youth programs every second Sunday of the month. On the Move Again!, sponsored by Apostle Angela Jennette Wilson and Family, will have Parade of States on February 15, 2014, at the Williamsburg County Complex from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Please call (843) 372-5108 to be added to the program. In the Parade of States individuals will name something or someone important and tell why or what was important about it. There will also be community gospel and a Praise Fest. Clothes Giveaway - Kingstree Church of Christ, 1288 Sumter Hwy., Kingstree, will have clothes giveaways on Saturday, November 30, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Saturday, December 21, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thanksgiving Service - Hebron Independent Church will host a Community Thanksgiving Service on Wednesday, November 27, at 7 p.m. All members of the surrounding communities are invited to participate. A time of fellowship and refreshments will follow the service. Hebron Independent Church is located at 1424 Hebron Rd., two miles south of Hebron Crossroads. Christmas Cantata - Mount Zion United Methodist Church Music Department and Fine Arts Ministry will present its seventh annual Evening Christmas Cantata, “The Love of God at Christmas” on Sunday, December 1, at 6 p.m. and at 5:30 p.m. a gathering and special music. The church is located at 701 Saint John Street, Kingstree. The pastor is the Rev. J. Jeannetté Cooper and the Minister of Music/Organist Kendrick Rashon Huggins. Prayer - Parents let your children hear you pray. Initial Sermon Deaconess Janice B. Thomas of the Siloam M.B. Church of Kingstree will give her initial sermon on December 1, at 3 p.m. The community is cordially invited to attend this spirited filled worship service. Terry B. Law, Sr. is the host pastor. Revival - Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Family invites you to their revival from Monday, December 2 to Wednesday, December 4, at 7 p.m. nightly. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Timothy Hayes Gainey, pastor of Edisto Fork United Methodist Church of Orangeburg. The Rev. J. Jeannette’ Cooper is the pastor of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 701 St. John Street, Kingstree. ANGEL TREE - An ANGEL TREE of needs is up in the Main St. branch of First Citizens Bank. The Felician Sisters interview all applicants for the “needs” of children. Approximately 150 children will receive gifts from the ANGEL TREE. Everyone is invited to stop by the bank and take a tag to purchase a gift for a child. The families served truly appreciate it. The drive ends December 6.
