Henry Fulton, Sr., Kingstree

Memorial service for Henry Louis Fulton, Sr., conducted by the Rev. Dr. Terry Alexander, was held Saturday, November 2, 2013, at Wayside Chapel Baptist Church of Florence, directed by Ideal Funeral Parlor, Inc. of Florence. Mr. Fulton died Friday, October 25, 2013, at McLeod Regional Hospital. He was born September 29, 1941, in Kingstree, the son of the late Harvey Fulton, Sr. and Ruth Wall Fulton. He graduated from Tomlinson High School in 1962. He was the owner of Fulton’s Flooring & Sanding Company. A son, Henry “Irule” Fulton, Jr., and a sister, Lillias F. Peterson, preceded him in death. Survivors are: his wife, Sue C. Fulton of the home; one son, Derrick Fulton (Diane); five brothers, Heyward Fulton, George E. Speights (Lula), Harvey E. Fulton, Jr. (Carol), James W. Fulton (Rebecca), and Jackie K. Fulton, all of Kingstree; two foster sisters, Kathleen Felder (Nathaniel) of Lane; and Deloris Fowler (Vernon) of Kinstree;and four grandchildren.
