Noonday Prayer - St. Paul United Methodist Church, 3733 Thurgood Marshall Hwy., Kingstree, will be open for noonday prayer on Wednesdays. We invite anyone who wants to come in and spend time with God to stop by and pray as long as they would like.  The church will open at 12 p.m. and remain open until after Bible Study at 6 p.m.  All are welcome to share in our Bible Study as well.   Program - Lady Christ-N-Ty Youth Ministry sponsors youth programs every second Sunday of the month. If you are looking for youth to come to your church to perform praise dancing and singing, lifting the name of Jesus. Services are 1st and 3rd Sundays at 9 a.m. with Sunday School and Praise service at 10 a.m. Praise/Worship on 1st and 3rd Tuesdays and Bible study every 2nd and 4th Sundays and Thursday nights at True Holiness Church of Deliverance II, 229 N. McQueen St., Florence. Apostle James A. Pratt, Jr. is the pastor.   Activities - Christ “N” Me Youth Outfield Ministry activities will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Throw and catch, puzzles, games, singing, and dancing and so much more. Refreshments will be served. Pick-up and drop-off are available.   Yard Sale - Corrie House Garments of Grace Ministries of Sandy Bay Pentecostal Holiness Church, located at the end of Sandy Bay Rd., will have an indoor yard sale every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.   Youth Ministry - Lady Christ-Is-Ty Youth Ministry will be ministering at Interfaith Project Park in Kingstree every Saturday from 4 p.m. until.  There will be singing and praise dancing.   Youth Program - Christ “N” Me sponsors youth programs every second Sunday of the month. If you are looking for the youth to come out to your church, please contact TeaTon at (843) 356-7397.   Ingathering - Central Presbyterian Church annual ingathering will be held Saturday, October 26, at 10 a.m. the bazaar, 12 p.m. lunch; and 1:30 p.m. an auction. Featured items include quilts, outdoor furniture, baby and children items, handmade crafts, cakes, ceramics, cheese straws, barbecue turkey, Christmas ornaments, Central Cookbooks, plus many more hand crafted items as well as home grown vegetables. The church is located at 5001 Thurgood Marshall Highway.   Teachings From The Ark - Teachings From The Ark announces the following events for the month of October. October 19 movie admission is $3 adults and $2 children with free refreshments at 11:30 a.m. Food pantry at 2 p.m. October 26 “Senior Citizens at Home or Daycare” All events at  12 p.m. except movie and food pantry. Teachings From The Ark’s Food Pantry will be open to the public Saturday, October 19, from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at 101 E. Main St., Kingstree. All recipients are required to show a current valid photo ID in order to receive commodities. No exceptions.   Program - Bethel AME Church, Gourdin area, will hold their annual Steward’s Program on Sunday, October 20, at 10 a.m. please come out and attend.   Program - St. Michael Holiness Church Missionary Department along with our pastor and church family cordially invite you to join us on Sunday, October 27, at 4 p.m. as  seven dynamic speakers present the 7-Up’s In Life. These mighty warriors of God will inform us as Christians and believers why it is important to Wake-up, Dress-Up, Shut-Up, Stand-Up, Look-Up, Rise-Up, and Lift-up. Beulah AME Church is located at 2272 Sumter Highway (Hwy. 527), Kingstree. The Rev. Ralph Singletary is the pastor.   Trunk or Treat - Life Center PH Church presents Trunk or Treat, October 31, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Games, treats, door prizes, etc. All are welcome. Please no scary costumes. The church is located at 2111 Martin Luther King, Jr. Hwy., Kingstree, 1/2 mile past Kingstree High School.   Workshop - Free Compliance Workshop for Churches and Ministries (non-profit and 501 (c) (3) agencies) Saturday, October 26, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lake City Public Library, 221 East Main Street, Lake City. Space is limited!   Fall Fest - Cornerstone Ministries of Lake City Fall Fest 2013 will be held Saturday, October 26, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Moore Farms Botantial Garden, rain or shine. This is a self-guided walking tour on both turf and gravel pathways so please wear comfortable shoes. Guests will tour the garden at their own pace, but keep in mind that walks can last from 20 minutes to several hours, depending on your interest. There are plenty of benches along the way if you need to stop for a rest. There will be a Green House tour beginning at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. This tour will meet at the deck of the Pack House. The garden will close at 3 p.m. Lunch is included with your ticket purchase and we will begin serving at 11 a.m. at the Fire Tower Center. Gospel singing and music will be provided. You may purchase tickets from a church member. Since this event is a fundraiser for Cornerstone Ministries, donations are placed in the Cornerstone Ministries Building Fund and cannot be refunded. Entrance to Moore Farms is located at 100 New Zion Rd., Lake City.   Family and Friends Day - Family and Friends Day will be held Sunday, October 27, at St. Mark AME Church. Church school begins at 9 a.m. and worship service begins at 10 a.m. The church is located at 1297 Old Georgetown Rd., Hemingway. The pastor is the Rev. Arthur W. Ford.
