Vernon/Snow Hill communities are invited to attend an organizational meeting to form a Crime Watch for the area.† Those people living on Hwy. 261 W, known as the Manning Hwy., starting at Hwy..† 52 S to the Clarendon County Line;† roads that intercept Hwy.. 261 W; Mt. Vernon Rd., Easler Rd from Coleman Rd back up to Mt. Vernon Hwy.. Those roads that are intercepting with Easler Rd. Vernon United Methodist Church’s Ladies, The Kizzie Scott Circle will have their annual booth for the Kingstree Pig Pickin’ on October 19.† They will be located at the “drive thru” area of the County Water Dept. (the Old Exchange Bank Building) on Main Street.† They will have baked goods, also canned goods and other homemade items for sale.
