David Nathaniel Cox, 71, widower of Roberta Reid Cox, died Thursday, September 26, 2013, at Carolinas Hospital of Florence. A memorial service was held Sunday, September 29, 2013, at Mouzon Presbyterian Church, directed by Williamsburg Funeral Home. Mr. Cox was born July 13, 1942, in Piedmont, Alabama, the son of the late Bonnie Nathaniel Cox and Geraldine Moore Cox. He retired as a production manager for CB Norton and was a member of Mouzon Presbyterian Church. A sister, Nancy Elizabeth Baize, preceded him in death. Survivors are: one daughter, Cynthia Jean Coker of Kingstree; two sons, Philip Lee Cox of Andrews and Mark Edward Cox (Nicole) of Goose Creek; one brother, George Donald Cox (Pam) of Marietta, Georgia; and eight grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Mouzon Presbyterian Church, c/o Jeanette Duke, 2281 Sumter Highway, Kingstree, SC 29556.
