Funeral services for Mrs. Amelia P. Middleton, conducted by the Rev. Samuel Nelson, were held Sunday, September 15, 2013, at St. Peters Baptist Church of Pineville. Burial, directed by Henryhand Funeral Home, followed at St. Peters Churchyard Cemetery of Pineville. Mrs. Middleton died Tuesday, September 10, 2013. She was born February 6, 1961 in Bonneau, the daughter of the late Anna and Jennings Pinckney. She received her education in the public schools of Berkeley County School District in Macedonia. She was a member of Christ Revival Center, where she served as an Usher, Choir Member and mighty Prayer Warrior. She worked several jobs. One son, St. Joseph Pinckney, and two siblings, James Green and Ineatha Savage, preceded her in death. Survivors are: her husband, Simeon Middleton of Pineville; 11 siblings, Rhunnette Mustapher (Otis), Mary Ruth Green, Charlotte Green and Carrie Lee Cleveland (Alton), all of Pineville; Nancy Nelson (Leroy), Ricky Pinckney, Willie Pinckney (Rolanda) of Bonneau; Frank Pinckney (Virginia) of Moncks Corner; Alexander Pinckney of Conway; Betty Drayton (Ricky) of Walterboro; and Roy Pinckney of Bronx, New York; and four honorary siblings, Shirley Smalls (Isaiah) of Moncks Corner; Ella Ree Fayall (Jerome) of Alvin; Marie Pinckney (Tony) of St. Stephen; and Nathaniel Savage (Stephanie) of Columbia. Pallbearers were Gregg Mayrant, Aaron Nelson, Rodger Nelson, Vincent Nelson, Troy Ramsey, and Carl Sinkler.
