Noonday Prayer - St. Paul United Methodist Church, 3733 Thurgood Marshall Hwy., Kingstree, will be open for noonday prayer on Wednesdays. We invite anyone who wants to come in and spend time with God to stop by and pray as long as they would like. 
The church will open at 12 p.m. and remain open until after Bible Study at 6 p.m.  All are welcome to share in our Bible Study as well.
Program - Lady Christ-N-Ty Youth Ministry sponsors youth programs every second Sunday of the month. If you are looking for youth to come to your church to perform praise dancing and singing, lifting the name of Jesus. For more information contact TeaTon at ladychrist_n_ty@yahoo. com.
Services - The Church of God and True Holiness, 1185 Thorne Avenue, Kingstree,  invites everyone to join us in our weekly services. Services are 1st and 3rd Sundays at 9 a.m. with Sunday School and Praise service at 10 a.m. Praise/Worship on 1st and 3rd Tuesdays and Bible study every 2nd and 4th Sundays and Thursday nights at True Holiness Church of Deliverance II, 229 N. McQueen St., Florence. Apostle James A. Pratt, Jr. is the pastor.
Activities - Christ “N” Me Youth Outfield Ministry activities will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Throw and catch, puzzles, games, singing, and dancing and so much more. Refreshments will be served. Pick-up and drop-off are available.
Yard Sale - Corrie House Garments of Grace Ministries of Sandy Bay Pentecostal Holiness Church, located at the end of Sandy Bay Rd., will have an indoor yard sale every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Youth Ministry - Lady Christ-Is-Ty Youth Ministry will be ministering at Interfaith Project Park in Kingstree every Saturday from 4 p.m. until.  There will be singing and praise dancing.
Youth Program - Christ “N” Me sponsors youth programs every second Sunday of the month. If you are looking for the youth to come out to your church, please contact TeaTon at (843) 356-7397.
Donations - A family of six lost everything they owed in a house fire recently. We are asking the community to make monetary donations or drop off clothing at The News or Longstreet Chevrolet. The clothes sizes needed are: Women’s - shirt L/XL and 30/32; pants 15/16 and 26; shoes 9 1/2 to 10 and 13 Men’s - Medium/large, large, and 3XL; pants 34, 36, and 42; shoes 8 1/2 to 9, 9 1/2, and 13 Boys’ - size 6/7 and shoes 12  kids.

Marriage Seminar - The 43rd Generation Ministries will have In This Together Marriage Seminar - Black Tie Affair on September 28, at 6 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn, 2671 Hospitality Blvd., Florence. The special guest will be recording artist Chris Bethel.

Crusade - Radical Prophetic Movement of Christ of Kingstree will be held from August 28 to August 30, at 7 p.m. at The Word Holiness Church, 73 Williamsburg County Hwy., Kingstree. Health Screening - The department of nursing at Francis Marion University will be offering free health screenings on Fridays once a month at the Felician Center at 1000 Thorne Avenue, Kings-tree.  The first health screening is scheduled for Friday, August 23, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
From The Ark  - Teachings From The Ark announces the following events for the month of August. August 10 and 31, teachings August 17 Back to School Program
August 24 movie at 11:30 a.m. with admission $3, adults; and $2, children with free refreshments. Food Pantry at 2 p.m. All events start at 12 p.m. except movie and food pantry. Teachings From The Ark’s Food Pantry will be open to the public Saturday, August 24, from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at 101 E. Main Street, Kingstree. All recipients are required to show a current valid photo I.D. in order to receive commodities. No exceptions.
Clothes Giveaway - Kingstree Church of Christ, 1288 Sumter Hwy., Kingstree, will have a clothes giveaway on Saturday, August 31, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Session - The 1st Steps to Recovery Empowerment Session will be held Saturday, August 17, at 10 a.m. at the Econo Lodge, 226 N. Washington St., Sumter, (803) 775-2323. Session speaker will be Pastor Gerthene Baxter of Lord of Lords of Hope Ministries of Manning.The host pastor is Prophetess DeSheka James of Kingdom Life Worldwide Ministries of Sumter. Family and Friends Day - Prince of Peace Missionary Baptist Church will be celebrating our fourth Family and Friends Day Program starting Friday night, August 16, at 7 p.m.  Our guest speakers for the occasion will be the Rev. Warren Murdock, Sr. of Friendship United Methodist Church of Nesmith and on Sunday, August 18, at 4 p.m., Bishop Floyd Knowlin of Lighthouse of Jesus Christ of Georgetown. Revival - Shekinah Temple Church family would like to invite you to their revival on Wednesday, August 14 to Friday, August 16. The guest revivalist will be Doctor Lou Ella Salters, pastor of East Lake City Believers Holiness Church of Lake City at 7 p.m.
