Seniors Patrol - The Kingstree Police Department is offering a seniors patrol wellness check. Any elderly, ill or bedridden residents of the Town of Kingstree who would like for the police department to contact them on a regular basis should call Chief Robert Ford. Memory Dish - Hospice Care of South Carolina's Grief Support Group, known as the "Memory Dish" is held the second Thursday of each month from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the Williamsburg Technical College (Administrative Office Building Conference Room). Gala - In celebration of ArtFields LCCS presents an arts gala, “Jazz It Up” featuring the Dick Goodwin Quintet on Thursday, April 25, at 6:30 p.m. at the National Bean Market.

This Columbia based quintet will bring a new level of excitement to the annual gala, performing a wide range of musical styles from Dixieland stompers to swing standards, Latin and contemporary flavors, sensuous ballads, plus original compositions written especially for the ensemble. Art exhibits of works by local students and professional artists will set the stage for this annual showcase event in Lake City.  A silent auction of artwork will raise funds for arts education in local schools. An array of fabulous hor d’oeuvres and fine wines makes this evening a highlight of the Lake City arts scene.
