Funeral services for Tomika Chiffon Boone, conducted by Apostle Barbara W. Ravenell, were held Saturday, January 26, 2013, at Birthing of Miracles Ministry of Alvin. Burial, directed by Henryhand Funeral Home, followed at Bluford Cemetery of Pineville.

Ms. Boone died Sunday, January 20, 2013, at her residence in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She was born September 19, 1980, in Charleston, the daughter of Barbara Boone Oseagulu. She was educated in the public schools of Berkeley County. She graduated from Timberland High School in 1999. She worked at Vanguard National Car Rental and Iquor. She was a member of Birthing Miracle Ministry of Alvin, where she served on the Kitchen Committee. A survivor, in addition to her mother of Newark, New Jersey, is: one sister, Indra Oseagulu of Linden, New Jersey. Pallbearers were Kevin Benekin, Terry Robertson, James Mayes, Curtis Mitchell, Kevin Tucker, and Maurice Washington.
