Funeral services for Richard Leverne Fulton, Sr., conducted by the Rev. Ella B. McFadden, were held Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at Midway Baptist Church of Kingstree. Burial, directed by Henryhand Funeral Home, followed at Greenlawn Cemetery of Kingstree. Mr. Fulton died Thursday, October 18, 2012, at MUSC Hospital of Charleston. He was born May 8, 1946, in Williamsburg County, a son of the late Duncan Fulton and Pearline Cooper Fulton. He was a lifelong member of Midway Baptist Church, where he was a member of the Board of Trustees. He was educated at Tomlinson High School and graduated with the Class of 1966. He attended Williamsburg Technical College, where he obtained a degree in computers. He was employed with Baxter Laboratory for 26 years as a supervisor.
Survivors are: his wife, Marguree Fulton of the home; four sons, Richard L. Fulton, Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia; Anthony Fulton of the home; Olando Fulton (Christina) of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; and Ferlando Fulton (Takeschia) of Durham, North Carolina; three sisters, Jessie Mae Fulton, Willie Marie Washington and Susan Lee Barr, all of Kingstree; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
