MARGARET DRIGGERS, KINGSTREE

Mrs. Margaret McCutchen Driggers, 85, died Friday, May 4, 2012, at McLeod Hospice House in Florence. Graveside funeral services, directed by Williamsburg Funeral Home, were held Sunday, May 6, 2012, at McClary Cemetery. Mrs. Driggers was born January 1, 1927, in Williamsburg County, a daughter of Watson Amar and Lillian Melvina Hanna McCutchen. She was a graduate of Kingstree High School and formerly owned and operated a plant nursery. She was a member of Beulah United Methodist Church. A daughter, Kathy McKenzie Almers, three brothers, and a sister, preceded her in death. Survivors are: two daughters, Libby Rodgers (Richard) of Kingstree; and Johnnie Lynn Evans (Sheldon) of New Zion; one brother, Colin McCutchen (Runette) of Kingstree; one sister, Esther M. Coker of Kingstree; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Tidelands Community Hospice, 2591 N.
