Juanita Lynch McFaddin, 87, widow of Fred McFaddin, died Sunday, February 17, 2013, at Commander Nursing Home in Florence.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at Second Baptist Church. Burial, directed by Williamsburg Funeral Home, followed at the church cemetery.
Mrs. McFaddin was born August 16, 1925, in Florence, a daughter of Mack Lynch and Lillie DeFee Lynch. She was a graduate of Olanta High School and earned an Associate Degree at USC Coastal Carolina. She retired as a teaching assistant with the Williamsburg County School System. She was a member of Second Baptist Church. Four siblings, J.M. Lynch, Edith White, Laura Calder, and Mae Jordan, preceded her in death.
Survivors are: three sons, Fred McFaddin, Jr. (Eudene) of Duluth, Georgia; Wade McFaddin (Lissa) of Chattanooga, Tennessee; and Danny McFaddin of Kingstree; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Hospice Care of SC, 131 N. Academy St., Kingstree, SC 29556.
