Funeral services for Evangelist Josephine McDaniel Gaillard, conducted by the Rev. Clifford Brown, were held Sunday, January 27, 2013, at Pilgrim Baptist Church of Pineville. Burial, directed by Henryhand Funeral Home, followed at Sunset Memorial Cemetery of Pineville. Evangelist Gaillard died Tuesday, January 22, 2013. She was born November 24, 1943, the daughter of the late Henrietta McClary and Abraham Williams of Pineville. She was a pastor of High Dimension Outreach Center of Pineville. She attended the public schools of Berkeley County and was a graduate of Russellville High School Class of 1962. Reliable Electric employed her for several years. One son, Joseph Gaillard, Jr., preceded her in death. Survivors are: her husband, St. Julian Gaillard; three children, Joe Ann Akmal of Conway; Jessica Gaillard of Pineville; and Jerome Gaillard (Jennifer) of Charleston; one sister, Ruby Jenkins (Lenny) of Pineville; two stepsisters, Geraldine Williams and Dorothy White, both of New York; one stepbrother, James Williams (Brenda) of New York; grandchildren of the home, A’alliyeh Akmal, Felicia Waring, Jammie (Teneshia) Gaillard, all of Pineville; and Jemarymice, Jayce and JeTerrius, all of Charleston; her stepmother, Bertha Lee Williams; and three godchildren, Pierre Wiggins, Shannon Crawford, and Shakela Wilson. Pall bearers were Leroy Dantlzer, Percy Gaillard, Jerome Small, Gilbert Gaillard, and Warren Warren.
