Johnson Heyward Tisdale, 79, husband of Annette Feagin Tisdale, died Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at his residence. Funeral services were held Friday, May 4, 2012, at the chapel of Williamsburg Funeral Home in Kingstree. Burial, directed by Williamsburg Funeral Home, followed at McClary Cemetery. Mr. Tisdale was born November 8, 1932, in Williamsburg County, a son of John Grice and Daisy Morris Tisdale. He graduated from Williamsburg County schools, was a farmer, and was the owner of S.A. Guerry & Son Store in the Millwood Community. He was the chairman of the Williamsburg County Board of Fire Control and had been so since its formation in the 1980s. He was a member of Lane United Methodist Church. Five sisters preceded him in death. Survivors are: his wife, Annette of Kingstree; one daughter, Pam Williamson (Tony) of Kingstree; and one grandson.
