J. LAVERNE LOVE, CADE

Joseph Laverne Love, 80, husband of Ola McKenzie Love, died Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at McLeod Hospice House of Florence.

Funeral services were held Saturday, February 2, 2013, at the chapel of Williamsburg Funeral Home of Kingstree. Burial, directed by Williamsburg Funeral Home, followed at Smith Cemetery. Mr. Love was born January 6, 1933, in Williamsburg County, a son of the late James Roland Love and Hattie Bowles Love. He was a graduate of Indiantown High School and was a retired insurance agent. He was a member of Lake City Pentecostal Holiness Church. A son, Joe Love, and a brother, J.R. Love, preceded him in death. Survivors are: his wife, Ola Love of Cades; two sons, Rusty Love (Deborah) of Lake City; and Don Love of Murrells Inlet; one daughter, Janet Love Floyd (Johnny) of Lexington; one sister, Dorothy James (Bobby) of Georgetown; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Memorials may be made to Lake City Pentecostal Holiness Church, 608 Ron McNair Blvd., Lake City, SC 29560 or Sandy Bay Pentecostal Holiness Church, 172 Delos Road, Kingstree, SC 29556.
