Mrs. Fay Hardy Hudgins, 79, widow of Carl Hudgins, died Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at Williamsburg Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held Saturday, October 6, 2012, in the chapel of Williamsburg Funeral Home. Burial, directed by Williamsburg Funeral Home, followed at Kingstree Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Hudgins was born March 2, 1933, in Savannah, Georgia, a daughter of Joseph Arthur and Frances Marion Amos Hardy. She attended the University of South Carolina, worked for Williamsburg County Treasurer’s Office and retired from Southern Cities Oil Co. (ELLCO). She was a former member of the Kingstree Pilot Club.
Survivors are: one son, Mitch Hudgins (Sherrie) of Corpus Christi, Texas; one daughter, Sandra Foster (Bob) of Conyers, Georgia; and three grandchildren.
