Douglas Elmo Eaddy, 78, husband of Suzanne Owens Eaddy, died Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at his daughter’s home in Salters.
Funeral services were held Saturday, February 23, 2013, at the chapel of Williamsburg Funeral Home of Kingstree. Burial, directed by Williamsburg Funeral Home, followed at Kingstree Memorial Gardens. Mr. Eaddy was born April 13, 1934, in Kingstree, a son of the late Lloyd Harris Eaddy and Altha Douglas Eaddy. He retired from Santee Electric Co-op as a line foreman and was an Army veteran. He attended Life Center Pentecostal Holiness Church. Two brothers, Clyde and Ray Eaddy, preceded him in death.
Survivors, in addition to his wife of Kingstree, are: three daughters, Linda Sue Moore (Kenneth) of Salters; Jennye Carolyn Jeronimo of Kingstree; and Angela Rene` Griffis (Keith) of Atlanta; three sisters, Mildred Huggins of Hemingway; Lottie Reardon (Bobby) of Kingstree; and Wendy Hardy (Allen) of Salters; seven grandchildren; two step-granddaughters; and five great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Life Center Pentecostal Holinesss Church, 2111 M.L. King, Jr. Hwy., Kingstree, SC 29556.
