Funeral services for Dorothy Mae “Dot” McGill, conducted by Pastor Ralph Fulmore, were held Friday, April 27, 2012, at Clauddie Henryhand Memorial Chapel of Kingstree. Burial, directed by Henryhand Funeral Home, followed at Crossroad Cemetery of Kingstree. Ms. McGill died Monday, April 23, 2012, at her residence. She was born September 23, 1960, a daughter of the late Rozell McGill and Ossie McClary McGill. She attended the public schools of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She was a member of Pentecost Evangelist Outreach Center of Kingstree. One sibling preceded her in death. Survivors are: three sons, Anthony Green, Amos Green, and James Green, all of Kingstree; two daughters, Thelma Green, and Michelle McGill, both of Kingstree; three brothers, Willis McClary of Kingstree; and David McGill and Rozell McGill, both of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; and six sisters, Mrs. Carrie Bell Collins (Herman) of Andrews; Mrs. Christen Wayne (Roosevelt), Pearlie McGill, Patricia McGill, and Tyneshia Jones, all of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; and Martha Ann Scott of Rochester, New York.
