Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Green Morris, conducted by Bishop Henry Epps, were held Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at Clauddie Henryhand Memorial Chapel of Kingstree. Burial, directed by Henryhand Funeral Home, followed at McKnight Cemetery of Salters.Mrs. Morris died Thursday, October 18, 2012, at McLeod Medical Center of Florence. She was born March 24, 1947, in Salters, a daughter of the late Arthur Green and Margreat Louise McKnight Green. She grew in Salters and attended the public schools of Williamsburg County. Later, she moved to New York, where she worked at Broadlawn Manor Healthcare as a nurse’s aide in Amityville and Long Island, New York. Survivors are: her husband, Joslyn Morris of New York; one daughter, Toya Green of Kingstree; one son, Ronald Green (Sarah) of Kingstree; one brother, Harold Green of Kingstree; three sisters, Vitell Cooper of Kingstree; and Mary Footman and Blondell Gamble (John), both of New Haven, Connecticut; reared as a sister, Mrs. Ruby Harrison Hayward of Kingstree; and two grandchildren.
