Vehicle tax receipts changed UPDATED

Effective immediately, citizens who mail in their annual vehicle tax payment or drop their payment off in one of the Horry County Treasurer’s drop box locations, will receive a receipt with their renewal registration and sticker from the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles instead of the county mailing a separate vehicle tax receipt.
