GKCU is pleased to welcome the following staff members to serve our members:

Teena Miller has been promoted to be the Branch Manager of the Pawleys Island branch. Miller, who recently celebrated her 10th year with GKCU, will assume responsibility of branch operations to continue servicing members with financial products and services, as well as community outreach. In addition to her supervisory functions for the staff of five at the branch, Miller will continue as a loan officer. Miller has years of experience and knowledge within the credit union having been a loan officer / member service representative in the Pawleys Island branch for over six years after moving from the Bourne Street branch. She is active in the Pawleys Island Kiwanis Club and enjoys the outdoors and vacationing with her husband.

Anna Marsh, an GKCU employee of 36 years, has been promoted to AVP of Loan Operations. In this role, Marsh will assume more of oversight and strategic planning duties in regards to loan audits, collections and efficiencies. She will continue to oversee the staff and operations of the Loan Recovery Department with the help from Betsy Cusack, who has been promoted to Loan Recovery Manager. Cusack will now oversee the daily operations within the collections department, with more managerial responsibility working with members on loan recoveries and collections. Cusack has been the Loan Recovery Assistant for the past six years with prior experience helping members as a Loan Officer and Head Teller since joining the staff in 2012.

Kaylin Sanders has been promoted to now serve the Pawleys Island branch as the Loan Officer / Member Service Representative. In her new position, Sanders will assist members with opening new accounts and adding services such as savings and checking accounts, as well as loans for needs such as automobiles, boats, and credit cards. Sanders has been with GKCU for the past four years as the head teller at the Pawleys Island branch and is active with business networking organizations like the Chamber of Commerce.

Two promotions were made within the teller servicing areas of the credit union with Rhonda Bearfield and Alexis Montgomery being named Senior Tellers at Fraser Street and Kingstree branches respectively. Both ladies joined the credit union in 2018 and quickly assumed duties as backups to the Lead Tellers. In addition to serving members with day-to-day financial services needs like deposit, withdrawals, payments and account updates, these Senior Tellers will assist with the operational functions on the teller line to develop, train and motivate leaders within the credit union with exceptional member service.

Jasmaine Chandler has been named the new Head Teller at the Pawleys Island branch. Chandler returned to work at GKCU in 2023 as a teller in the Pawleys Island branch. She previously served as a teller in the Kingstree branch. Chandler will oversee the teller line operations and assist members with daily financial services, as well as assist in branch operations as needed.
